Temples we drive to
Here are some of the temple trips we plan. If your temple isn’t listed, just ask: we drive anywhere in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Tiruchendur Murugan temple

The Subramaniya Swamy temple at Tiruchendur is the only one of Murugan’s six abodes (Arupadai Veedu) that stands by the sea. Weekends and festival days, especially Kanda Sashti, get very crowded, so an early start helps.
Going from Tirunelveli, Valliyur or Panagudi? See our Tirunelveli to Tiruchendur taxi page.
Nava Tirupathi

Nava Tirupathi is a group of nine Vishnu temples on the banks of the Thamirabarani, near Srivaikuntam and Alwarthirunagari. Visiting all nine usually takes one full day, and we plan the order with you to keep the driving short.
- 1Srivaikuntam
- 2Alwarthirunagari
- 3Thirukolur
- 4Thenthiruperai
- 5Perungulam
- 6Rettai Tirupathi
- 7Natham
- 8Thirupuliyangudi
Planning only Nava Tirupathi? See our Nava Tirupathi tour taxi page.
Nava Kailayam

Nava Kailayam is a group of nine Shiva temples along the Thamirabarani, from Papanasam down to the coast near Tiruchendur. We visit them in this order, planned around each temple’s darshan timings:
- 1Cheranmahadevi
- 2Kodaganallur
- 3Kunnathur
- 4Papanasam
- 5Murappanadu
- 6Srivaikuntam
- 7Thenthiruperai
- 8Rajapathi
- 9Sernthapoomangalam
Full details: Nava Kailayam tour taxi.
We plan the day around each temple’s opening hours. Tell us your start time and pickup point when you book.
Kanyakumari

Visit the Kumari Amman (Bhagavathy Amman) temple, take the ferry to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and watch the sunrise where three seas meet. The ferry depends on the weather and the sea, so we keep the plan flexible. For the sunrise, we fix an early pickup time with you.
Suchindram and the Nagaraja temple, Nagercoil

The Thanumalayan temple at Suchindram, where Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma are worshipped together, is on the road from Nagercoil to Kanyakumari. Nagercoil itself takes its name from its Nagaraja temple. Both fit well into a Kanyakumari trip.
Courtallam and Tenkasi

See the Courtallam falls and the Kutralanathar temple, then the Kasi Viswanathar temple in Tenkasi. Tenkasi means “the Kasi of the south”, and the town takes its name from this temple. How much water the falls have depends on the season.
Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple

The Meenakshi Amman temple, with its tall, colourful gopurams, makes a long day out from the far south. Flying into Madurai? We can pick you up at the airport and begin the trip from there.
Trivandrum temples

- Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple
- Azhimala Shiva Temple
